Two-axes graph

I have two sets of values and I need to do a line (curve) graph of them in Numbers. Meaning I need one set to be the X axis and the other set being the Y axis. I can’t figure out a way to do that. Can someone help?

Select 2D Scatter, as indicated here:


With the chart selected, click the Format brush, then the Series button, then Connection lines. Use the stepper control to select "curved", as seen in the image below.



(Most curves in the example are very gentle due to the almost linear 'data'.
