I would say yes!

However you should still write them down, as a backup.

If you don't want to write them down, then, if there is an issue with the Keychain software (not an unheard-of-thing), you will need to hit "forgot password" on the applicable site and make a new password. This shouldn't happen often, but that is the option you would need to use if you really don't want to write anything down.

Hope this helps!

Apple Keychain is for everyone.

In this modern age, Passwords are everywhere - every “service” and account that you have requiring a different username and password. For security and to avoid compromise of multiple accounts, you should [must] avoid password reuse.

Humans are remarkably bad at generating - and remembering - large numbers of secure passwords. Unless you are super-human and can remember dozens (if not hundreds) of different passwords, you’ll need a secure password manager - and this is where your Keychain will both automatically generate and securely store all your different credentials without having to worry about remembering them individually.

Your stored passwords (within your keychain) are secured by biometrics - either by FaceID or TouchID.
