Logic Pro 10.7.7 not opening

Hi,

I've been using Logic for a couple of years, and it has been working seamlessly. However, just a few days ago I couldn't even open it. No matter what I do, it doesn't start at all. I see the icon jumping a bit, and the dot underneath it shows up for a second and disappears.

I updated macOS, and Logic to the last version (10.7.7), and since I thought the newly installed Kontakt (Komplete Kontrol Suite) is messing with it, I deleted that as well. Installed Logic one more time, and still doesn't work. Also deleted all the related files in /Library/.../Components etc.

What I noticed was if I don't have my external drive connected and try to open Logic, it asks for the sound library, which is on the HDD (and that worked perfectly till now), and till I plug it in and hit Retry, it is 'on' and seems like it's up and running, but as soon as it connects with HDD it shuts down. Not sure if this is correlated, but just wanted to mention it.
