Libre 3 Bluetooth Connectivity Issue

Any ideas on why my Abbott Libre 3 blood sugar sensor drops out from its Bluetooth connection almost 9 minutes after each each successful connect? Any body else out there had this problem? It’s maddening!

Hello Buford55Ap,

The following steps should help with connection issues you're having with a third-party Bluetooth accessory:

  1. Ensure your iPhone is updated, and if an update is needed, back up first. Here's a guide with both steps: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
  2. If you use an app with your Bluetooth accessory, make sure it is updated after installing any available software updates. Here's a guide on updating your apps: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support
  3. Unpair your Bluetooth accessory and set it up again for fresh connections and settings. To do that you'll tap Settings > Bluetooth, then find the device you want to unpair, and tap the More Info button, then Forget this Device. Those steps can also be found here: Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
  4. Check for possible sources of interference using these steps: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference - Apple Support

If the above doesn't help, we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer to look into this with you more. Here's their support site, just in case: Contact Us - Customer Care & Sensor Support
