Logitech slim folio

My iPad recognises the slim folio keyboard for Bluetooth pairing and provides a number for me to type in to confirm the device yet, the iPad does not receive the number code I type and times out for pairing. This keyboard had previously been connected to my iPad and no problems. Today, batteries changed and new software update and I cannot get it paired again. Thoughts?
