Just to confirm, is your device currently running iOS beta? If yes, all issues with the beta program, there should be a feedback assistance app where you can submit your issues.

If you wish to unenroll from the beta program and re-install the latest public version of iOS, here's a helpful link that you can check out: How to uninstall iOS or iPadOS beta software

Please keep in mind that unenrolling from the beta program will require you to restore your device back to factory settings and re-installing the latest public version of iOS. You'll need to restore your data from the backup that you previously created.  

If you're currently not running iOS beta, be sure that your iPhone is running iOS 16.3.1 which would be the latest public version of iOS: Update your iPhone or iPad

Thanks for confirming that. Let's try quitting and relaunching the Translate app, then restarting the device to see if this resolves the issue:

Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
