Beats Studio Buds Popping Noise

My Beats Studio buds have just recently started making a very loud and intense popping noise. It only occurs in the left earbud, and only when the earbuds are on noise cancellation and noise transparency modes. They are 2 months old, and it is very disappointing because one of the earbuds is unusable at this point. I have tried resetting the earbuds using the apple guide, and I have also tried putting them in a bowl of rice to treat any potential water damage (even though they have not come into contact with any water). The popping noise is still present and I do not know what to do.

Hello MErn252,

If you have another device that you're able to connect the Beats to, then connecting them to that other device can help to isolate it down and see if the issue is specific to the current device that they're being paired with.

It can help to try using downloaded audio in addition to streaming audio, just to see if it happens with both.

If you haven't already, try connecting them to an iOS device using the latest iOS version to help ensure they have the latest update installed for the Beats: About Beats Updater - Apple Support

Cheers.
