Hi all,

I can’t believe this question is been asked here for so long and no one, literally no one actually had a solution, well until now. Even Apple failed to provide an answer….

Anyway, this will be a problem for a couple of years, but the reason is that multicast (UPnP) is blocked on some routers/accesspoints between different wifi methods.

As in, since the ultra watch can’t connect to 5ghz wifi (supports only 2,4ghz) and youre Apple tv prefers the 5ghz wifi. And if you’re unlucky enough you have a modem which does 2,4 ghz and 5ghz under same name, some modem will not pass through the UPnP between the wifi modes.

So to solve this problem, if you have a modem like that. In NL if you have Ziggo you will have it :)

make sure your apple watch amd apple tv (or whatever you use for a hub) are in the same wifi network.

I will just atop using Ziggo modem as access point.

this is 1000% the cause and fix,

can reproduce it and fix it at will :)
