Loading photos via plug in from Iphone 13 pro changes my 16:9 photos to 4:3. If I air drop they stay 16:9. Can anyone explain? And Can it be fixed so they stay in 16:9.

When you take Photos in the 16:9 ratio the camera is actually taking 4:3 ratio photos, but adding a cropping, that can be reverted. The original of the photo is having the standard aspect ratio.
It would be more convenient to transfer the photos with iCloud Photos, as you will get both - the original version as taken by the camera, but with the cropping applied, that can be reverted.

I take phots in landscape 16:9 ratio when I add them to Photos via plug in they change to the regular size. If I airdrop the remain in 16:9 Is there a reason and Can I fix it.
