Watch style on the lock screen on ipad

Presumably you are attempting to customise the iPad lock screen…

Unlike iOS16 for iPhone, iPadOS 16 for iPad does not support lock screen customisation. Likewise, the new active Astronomy and Weather Wallpapers are currently exclusive to iOS16.x for iPhone.

Whether or not these features will ever reach iPadOS is known only to Apple.

If you’re talking about an Apple Watch, you cannot do anything on a watch from an iPad.
