Dead pixel

Is there a possibility that Apple will cover the repair even though my device is already out of warranty? I went to their service center in our area and I was advised that they could create a report about it, and I could email/tell Apple what happened. This is after they inspected (assuming that my MBA M1 was checked by their technician) my laptop. The guy I talked to mentioned they could not guarantee that Apple would cover it. But they were some instances that Apple did cover it. I'm a little frustrated bec the repair would cost me 25,000php (445$)
