Airplay warning

I can no longer airplay Season 4 of Yellowstone on my Apple TV. I get a warning “CVF_-11870:-11848”

what do I need to do to get back to air playing Yellowstone season 4?

If AirPlay is working for other apps and also for other shows for this same app, then the issues must be with how the content provider is streaming the show with AirPlay issues, or their server-side setting for these episodes. Please contact the content provider for their advise, as they are in the best position to investigate this. How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

If screen mirroring or streaming isn't working on your AirPlay-compatible device - Apple Support


Select apps may have in-app AirPlay controls. Use that if available. Else try the Screen Mirroring widget in Control Center. Apps may support both, or one of these, or none of these. Apps on mobile may automatically switch from actual screen mirroring (capturing the screen) to ‘basic’ AirPlay (forwarding the stream), as they see fit.

Content providers may differentiate AirPlay support between their own app and web access.

Content providers may actively support AirPlay, or make no special effort for supporting it, or block it, or have minimum system requirements for the receiving device. To what model device are you trying to stream using AirPlay?


Verify that your devices are up-to-date for system software.

Verify that your streaming app is up-to-date.
