If AirPlay is working for other apps and also for other shows for this same app, then the issues must be with how the content provider is streaming the show with AirPlay issues, or their server-side setting for these episodes. Select apps may have in-app AirPlay controls. Use that if available. Else try the Screen Mirroring widget in Control Center. Apps may support both, or one of these, or none of these. Apps on mobile may automatically switch from actual screen mirroring (capturing the screen) to ‘basic’ AirPlay (forwarding the stream), as they see fit.

Content providers may differentiate AirPlay support between their own app and web access.
