IPhone and listening to music with USB cable

Hi!

I have a question about connecting my IPhone and Blackstar guitar amp with USB cable. An amp has got wide-stereo speakers and it can be used for listening to music and other things like this (for example playing guitar with the music from the phone connected to amp). It worked on Android and Windows PC. Is it possible to do that on IPhone or do I have do change some settings?

Hi maciekz89,

We appreciate you reaching out to us.

We’d like to start by setting your expectations, you may have to reach out to the manufacturer of your amplifier to confirm if the iPhone is a supported audio source for their device.

Also, you may need the appropriate cable or adapter to connect your iPhone to an amplifier. For example, a Lightning to HDMI or AUX adapter. Another example is the Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter.

If you have to use the Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter, follow the steps below.

  1. "Plug your Lightning to 3.5 mm Headphone Jack Adapter into the Lightning connector on your iOS device.
  2. Plug the other end into your headphones or amplifier."

You can use the article below as a reference.
