CarPlay steering wheel control I bought a vehicle without Sirius xm. I use the app to stream music with CarPlay but there is no way to change stations with the steering wheel buttons. Instead, the steering wheel “next” button bring you to the next track , but not the next radio station. It would be very helpful to add this feature because swiping on the touch screen to get to the next station is much more distracting than simply pressing the next button on the steering wheel.

Shortcuts/Widget To Toggle CarPlay Button Hi! I have a suggestion regarding CarPlay, rather than a question. Please enable shortcuts to allow us to quickly toggle the CarPlay switch on or off while we're in our car. I prefer that CarPlay connects automatically whenever I start the car, but there are times when I'd like to have discreet phone conversations or watch media content on my iPhone without the audio being played on the car speakers. I usually engage in these activities when I'm not driving and the car is stationary, such as when I'm waiting for someone in a parking bay with other people in the car. However, as soon as I resume driving, I'd like to connect to CarPlay again so I can listen to Apple Music while driving. Currently, toggling the CarPlay button through the Settings/CarPlay/MyCar/CarPlay On/Off menu feels troublesome and highly inconvenient. Therefore, I kindly request that you make it available through shortcuts or even a widget. I believe many others facing the same issue would also appreciate this improvement. Thank you for considering my suggestion.

HomeKit challenges with Lutron RadioRA2 Connect Bridge after HomeKit upgrade (AppleTV, HomePod and iOS upgrades to 16.4) I have a Lutron RadioRA2 system with 82 devices including the Lutron Connect Bridge for integrating RadioRA2 with HomeKit. Previously, the Lutron RadioRA 2 + HWQS App / Settings / HomeKit & Siri feature would allow you to select rooms or devices in rooms to setup in HomeKit. If the room name in Lutron matched the HomeKit room name, then selecting the room or device would cause it to appear in the HomeKit room. After the upgrade, the devices are placed into "Default room" on the HomeKit side instead of their proper room. Also, the radio buttons in the Lutron app for the room/zone and device are not filled in to indicate they sync'd with HomeKit. I believe the issue is a compatibility problem between the Lutron Connect Bridge and the new version of HomeKit. As a side note, the new version of the Home app on Ventura 13.3 has lots of quality issues. When I am moving devices from the Default Room to their proper room, the dialog can't be closed so I have to Command-Option-Escape to force quit. If you are considering doing the HomeKit upgrade, please wait until Apple addresses the quality problems.

Depending on what you're seeing, you may be able to rearrange or remove icons as needed by following the steps found here: Rearrange the icons on CarPlay Home - Apple Support

"Rearrange the icons on CarPlay Home

When you’re not operating your vehicle, open Settings on your iPhone, go to General > CarPlay, select your vehicle, then tap Customize.
Do one of the following:

Move an icon: Drag up or down in the list.

Remove an icon: Tap next to the icon, then tap Remove.
- Only icons that have next to them can be removed.
- Add an icon back to CarPlay: Below More Apps at the bottom of the page, tap next to the icon.

Your icon changes appear on CarPlay Home the next time you connect to CarPlay."
