If you have restored your iPod you will have to set up the connection to your Wi-Fi router again. In other words, you will need to go into the Wi-Fi settings, find and connect to your router and (most crucially) put the router password in so that you have access. Have you done that?

If you have, please supply more detail about what steps you are taking and what happens when you try them.

I think your iPod's iOS may not be recent enough for Pandora.

Not sure why it won't connect to some Wi-Fi routers though, but you could try using the 2.4Ghz connection on the router rather than the 5Ghz one (your router should have two "feeds": one is the older 2.4Ghz option and the other is (no prizes for guessing) the 5Ghz one, which is faster.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I did that & no connection. I plugged in my old router, plugged iPod directly & it connected w/ password but won’t connect to any other wifi. Can’t even load Pandora app on this iPod. It’s old & was useful for many years but I will retire it

Thanks again
