Instead of having the app icons only show in Grid View, List View lists the apps and organizes them in alphabetical order. For watchOS 7 and above:
- Open the Settings app
on your Apple Watch. - Tap App View, then tap Grid View or List View.
You can also open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, tap My Watch, tap App View, then tap Grid View or List View.
If you want to see only a small number of apps, you can use the Dock. The Dock will appear when you push the side button. You can put just your most used apps in the Dock, and they will stay away from the confusion of the app list. The following tells you how to choose the apps you want for your Dock:
