Waiting to Upload Easy Fix

Had this problem for almost a year until I figured out an easy fix: occasionally a desktop folder would not sync with the cloud. It would simply say "Waiting to Upload". I searched the support community and nothing worked until I figured out an easy fix that works for me.

Easy fix: Duplicate the folder (make a copy). Then open the copy folder to ensure the files from your old folder were duplicated correctly. Wait a until the copy folder syncs with the cloud. Then delete the original folder from your desktop and trash. Rename the copy folder to the old folder's name by removing the word "copy".

Works for me every time I have this issue!

(Apple needs to fix whatever is causing this problem instead of ignoring it.)
