If you're experiencing issues with permissions while trying to install Adobe Creative Cloud on your Mac, there are a few steps you can take to try to resolve the issue:

  • Check for updates: Make sure you have the latest version of the Adobe Creative Cloud installer. You can do this by opening the Creative Cloud desktop app and checking for updates.
  • Repair disk permissions: Disk Utility can be used to repair disk permissions on your Mac. To do this, open Disk Utility, select your Mac's startup disk, and click on "First Aid." Then click "Run" to begin the repair process.
  • Reset permissions: You can reset permissions on your Mac using the Terminal app. Open Terminal and type the following command:
sudo chmod -R 777 /Library/Application\ Support/Adobe

This will change the permissions for the Adobe folder to allow all users to read, write, and execute files within it.

  • Try a different user account: If none of the above steps work, try logging in with a different user account on your Mac and see if you're able to install Adobe Creative Cloud without any issues. This will help determine if the issue is with your user account or with the installation files themselves.

If none of these steps work, you may want to contact Adobe support for further assistance.
