Is there a question? Are you asking how to perform a PRAM Reset?

A PRAM Reset is only available with the Intel Macs:

If you have an M1 or M2 Apple Silicon Mac, then there is no PRAM Reset.

Thank you but the PRAM reset did not solve the problem, which is my Bluetooth app on my MacBook Pro 13.5” Dual-Core Intel Core i5, running Mac Big Sur 11.7.

I’ve completed every fix (about 15) 2x+ yesterday, over 4 hours.

I visited numerous sites, to search for additional solutions, including Apple Support, which is a drag.

I’ve seen identical screenshots of my Network Bluetooth and WiFi Preferences and settings pages. The screenshots were followed by up to 10 fixes, after each identical image of my settings screen, showing the problem.

I tried them all. No change.

It’s difficult for me to accept that nothing solves such a simple problem. The one caveat is that since 2017 my devices, and I have many, have experienced real time hacking, on numerous applications while I’m there. I’ve determined that this only happens when I’m on my wifi network.

I saw my entire “Sent” folder in Outlook, which I never remembered to empty (out of sight - out of a morons mind), completely empty right before my eyes 3 seconds after I opened that “box” in Outlook.

Probably 3-4 months of 80% business messages, were in that “Sent” folder. I was on COX at that time. I’m a “whistleblower” who hasn’t blown the whistle yet, because those “intelligence” agents hiding in the Deep State (unseen below DC but well above the citizenry, and just a little above their Contract-Outsourced-No Solemn Oath given, private industry’s (especially High Tech) whom carry out the bidding of those Fascist Traitors in deep, who are ultimately protecting well-known Global Industries and their also well-known financiers, all are members of the One World Odor, its wretched stench emanating from the members of the worlds most connected Secret Orders and Front Agencies in the US Government (The Foriegn Relations Committee is a front for the Trilateral Commission which is a front for the Bilderberg Group, which is just one Front for “Klaus Schwab and the Global Elite” (a good name for a modern band, eh?)

So, there’s a 50-50 chance that my problem is an outlier not often experienced seen, a hack of my registry or whatever. I’ve ruled out everything else that I found, but I still need help to know the problem, solved or not, it’s going into evidence.

And so THATS why I haven’t blown the whistle yet, the “intelligent” criminals keep right on telling on themselves and leaving obvious clues, like The Penguin and Mr. Freeze, in fact all the “Uber Villains” make critical errors on judgement which they are simply blind to (that’s why they’re criminals!), yet these same errors, stick out like a 1970 Photo Booth wallet picture would at COMDEX. . .to anyone who can detect these clues, otherwise they hide in plain sight to the sheeple.

Symptoms: “Bluetooth PAN Not Connected.”

(greyed out): “Device: No PAN Device's Found” and “Connect” button.

Bluetooth icon shows up top with a line through it, just as the WiFi icon has a line through it when off.

Click on Wifi icon and an “On and Off” slide switch appears and it works fine as does my Spectrum Internet.

Click on the Bluetooth icon, the drop down box contains the identical slide switch as the WiFi has. The Bluetooth switch is completely greyed out. Cannot turn Bluetooth on.

Please help.

Thank you, that will solve the tampering, intrusions and hacking, but my Bluetooth issue remains still. The real problem with the Bluetooth not connecting, it’s that AIRDROP won’t work with Bluetooth off.

Sharing files with my MacBook for storage off my iPhones and iPads and Apple TV and other iOS devices, is BLOCKED. If there’s one top tool used by the Deep State and “intelligence” outfits, when silencing a domestic political enemy, it’s interfering with any and all communication lines.

My old iPhones had Pegasus in it. I sign into my secure google account, create a new user/account/gmail address, send an email to a trusted recipient, and they receive a quite intimidating front message, warning the recipient to the effect; “this is a new account, this may be phishing, etc., etc.”

I’m a google customer for 15 years with zero gmail complaints or problems, but I may be a threat to a close contact with my new gmail address, set up inside Google’s server after signing in with 2-step verification?

yeah right. Google owns YouTube, I’ve had the same kind of issues that always result in me not being able to utilize their platform. GoFundMe? Don’t even ask, I may get money to hire a good Federal Attorney. 65 of my videos, produced by me, owned by me, with my likeness and former company as the content, being exploited by others with their contact info and their YouTube channels.

Google legal basically says “Well, go and sue me, see what I care.”

You’re correct, the PRAM reset did nothing. I expected failure, because everything is failing. No solution works. I’m not new. I know how to find answers before I ever post on a community board.

I say “write” but it isn’t writing is typing with my thumb on my iPhone, or pecking on my MacBook. And a “chat” is infinitely worse (slower)! Sms and chat and digital boards, are post-modern. We’re now going backwards, and we’ve stopped to do “Modern Cave Drawing” on the way down. This typing is 1/300th the speed of voice, and voice has been going away for a while (if you have some decades of experience behind you).

So here I am. Please see my lengthy post just before this. Thanks!

Get yourself a WiFi 6 router. It is the most-recent in up-to-date WiFi encryption protocols. It seems to me that you need to secure you network. Log in to your router using the Default Gateway on your Web Browser. There, you’d view connected devices, and would be able to secure you networking such as creating and changing current passwords. Change all of your passwords, keeping a unique password to each site. User Two-Factor Authentication for all sites that offer this service. Use Alphanumeric passwords with special characters. Keep a handwritten, hardcopy sheet of paper with all of these passwords written down.

Thank you, that’s considerate of you. I was going through all the steps to try and get my Bluetooth to work. The PRAM was one step. I got that done, but no Bluetooth. It’s says there’s hardware missing. This happened when I updated my iOS. It’s a ****** deal when the Mfr. of my computer, and the software update, cannot tell me how to get my Bluetooth to work. It won’t turn on, it’s missing something and Apple is no help! Wtf? So I tried the community, and it was just a two week cluster-F. It’s a 2020 MacBook Pro but it’s the low price 128gb model. I’ve got a 15” 2014 MacBook that works great, so I’ll end up selling if giving the 2020 away and get another one, or not. I appreciate you.

I had to chime in here despite being a bit delayed, because I feel you should be able to get to the bottom of this one. It sounds to me like this may be a hardware failure. All Bluetooth is, is short-range wireless over 2.4 ghz. Similar to wifi just a different frequency projected within a much smaller range. So in all modern computers that have these features, there is one card that does both. So you could search the Macbook Pro 2020’s wireless adapter card and all of it’s functions and see if these are the issues you have been dealing with. If you click on the Apple in the top menu then hold down tab while selecting System Info you should get the thorough list of your computer specs and you can click on Bluetooth to determnine whether your controller is being seen by the OS and other potentially useful info. I’m going to assume you have a model with the T2 chip, so you’d want to take it to an Apple Store for that repair.

My other observation is that in your images of your list of bluetooth devices or lack thereof, it looks like you haven't upgraded to Ventura yet. There’s a good chance you’ll have Air Drop issues if the operating systems of the two devices you want to communicate aren’t up to date.

When I look at your wireless services, it looks like someone has made adjustments to the default settings. I think if you upgrade the OS it will reset some of those settings back to the default and it may help as well. I could be wrong here, but if you just go in and create a new network location it also resets most of those wireless settings back to default.

In regards to your quote, “We’re now going backwards, and we’ve stopped to do Modern Cave Drawing on the way down.". I’d have to agree. So I feel I should also warn you that the system settings menu in Ventura would be fittingly described as hieroglyphics. The settings themselves haven’t changed too much. They just took whatever organization they once had and turned it into the Dewey Decimal system X alphabet soup.

This page on booting into Recovery is packed full of good info. Ultimately, you could use this to upgrade your OS or even reinstall your current one. Whatever you choose to do. Just know that Ventura is llkely your best shot for Air Drop to work and don’t forget to do a full backup before you even boot into Recovery.

To paraphrase something I've read along the way, probably from the EFF, if you are receiving a service/app for free consider that company's business model. If you can't come up with how that company is making (in this case) billions each year, then chances are that you are the product. Google online privacy is an oxymoron. I apologize if this comes off a little harsh, but contacting your privacy-concerned associates via an unencrypted email account ran by one of the largest harvesters of user information on the internet is most certainly putting them and you at risk and that would be your fault not the company that provides the service. That little privacy policy link in tiny font at the bottom ensures they are off the hook legally. Unfortunately, that won’t change until more people see the importance.

Lastly, if I may, a bit of unsolicited advice regarding your conundrum. It has been said by people with more tech knowledge in their pinky toe than I'll ever have, that the only way to achieve online privacy is to get off the internet. As this is not feasable for most, it’s important to assess the situation and decide whether our actions to protect our privacy are in line with whatever threat model we are realistically facing. The road you are traveling is stressful and anxiety inducing. I’m sure most of us can identify with those feelings and it isn't a healthy place to stay for very long. If you are in fact dealing with such an entity as you claim then maybe reassess or pass the task along to someone you trust that may be able to take it further. I mean no offense when I say, that if you were capable of matching that level you likely wouldn’t be seeking help with your bluetooth. If you really are treading in these deep waters set yourself an end goal on a time line and buy yourself the biggest whistle you can find.

I wish you the best of luck and hopefully something I've said is helpful and all else is perceived as written with the best intentions.
