Howdy! Apple and many iOS app developers collect diagnostic information and usage analytics. This means that some anonymous data on your device and how it's running is shared with the developers. (Either Apple for iOS or the developers of whatever apps you may be using.)

Crash analytics is data collected when an app crashes. This data can be shared with the app's developers so they can understand why the app crashed so they can fix it.


This is to improve both the user's experience and the developer's job.
