Is the physical button (volume +/-, side button) iphone 13 pro max easily damaged if always used?

Under normal circumstances those buttons will last a very long time, as long as you don't drop the iPhone or bring it into contact with water, dirt, etc.

Apple can also service those buttons, if necessary.
