I have had to use compatible inks for my XP-6105 printer due to the cost of Epson inks. I have never had any problem before but now, suddenly when my BK black ink cartridge (the large one) needs replacing, the printer will not recognise the replacement. Can anyone please offer any help as I have quite a stock of compatible inks.

Hello again, yes I understand. However I have just tried taking out all the cartridges, turning the machine off and back on again and reinstalled the cartridges one by one and wonderful, everything is working fine again. Thanks again for you help.
Sorry but although the Printer maybe used on an Apple Computer ( I use an Epson ET 2750 ) - using Compatible Ink in an Epson printer is best addressed to Epson
After all, it tis there Devices and should be them who offer a solution
Thanks for the reply. I didn't contact them first because I suspect their updates are designed to stop compatible inks being used. However, I have written to Epson and I will let you know how I get on.

Yes some makers of Printers place a sensor in the Original Cartridge that if not found will Block using Non Original Refills
Yes but if my compatibles have always worked many times in the past that shouldn't happen should it?
Epson XP-6105 will suddenly not accept compatible inks.
