How to eneble discrete graphics only when you use macbook from power adapter ?
When you switch the graphics mode, it switches for both the battery and the adapter at the same time

If you want to use the higher-performance discrete graphics processor at all times, choose Apple Menu > System Preferences, click Battery, click the Battery tab, then deselect the automatic graphics switching checkbox. In macOS Catalina 10.15 and earlier, this setting is in Energy Saver preferences.
If you want to use integrated GPU only, open Terminal.app, then
sudo pmset -c gpuswitch 0.
If you want to always use the integrated graphics card while you're plugged in. And if you want to control this setting globally, whether your laptop is plugged in or not, you just need to change pmset -b to pmset -c .

I heard that it's bad to keep the battery charged at 100%. There is software like bclm or BattaryStatusShow that sets the charging limit. Is it possible to set a charge limit using native apple settings? (there is an option in the settings: "battery charge up to 80%", but it does not work - charging is always at 100% :)
