why is it that Apple Music resorts to playing 256K AAC files if you have itunes purchases downloaded on your phone? If you have an album purchased from iTunes downloaded on your iphone, you can't play the lossless or hi res version offered via Apple Music. why?

Thank you Javaliga. That’s not really the solution I was looking for. My issue isn’t about downloading a hi res version. For me Apple Music is strictly for streaming. I use my purchased music for offline listening.
My question is simply “why does Apple Music not allow streaming of lossless or hi res music if you already have the low res version on your phone?” Apple Music should just ignore any downloaded music and just provide the lossless or better stream. Why does it penalize users who’ve made purchases from iTunes from being able to stream the lossless versions direct from Apple Music?
