iPhone no longer shows voicemails or recent calls since last update

My phone no longer will show that I have a voice mail or recent call after updating to 16.3.1 on my iPhone 14. I now have to dial in to get voice messages and there is no date or time stamp with the message. I used to show a list of voice mails.

Greetings kleigh54,

If you are missing visual voicemail, you may need to set it up again. Follow the steps below:

"Set up voicemail

The first time you tap Voicemail, you’re asked to create a voicemail password and record your voicemail greeting.

  1. Tap Voicemail, then tap Set Up Now.
  2. Create a voicemail password.
  3. Choose a greeting—Default or Custom; if you choose Custom, you can record a new greeting." Check your voicemail on iPhone

If the issue continues, check with your carrier to ensure the feature is supported.

We hope this helps.

Best wishes.
