Google's OAuth 2.0 policy

About a week ago i am no longer able to access my email in my iMac.

I tried deleting my gmail account and re installing it and got this message

Authorization Error

Error 400: invalid_request


You can't sign in to this app because it doesn't comply with Google's OAuth 2.0 policy for keeping apps secure.

About not being able to access you email: Using the browser allows you to then get the actual user ID and password that has been posted there for your account. That is what must be entered and transmitted for your email app to access the email server. Otherwise, no access will be granted.
