"Report an Issue" in Apple Maps is in a foreign language

When I click "Report an Issue" in Apple Maps on my M1 MacBook Pro, the resulting window is in a foreign language (looks like Dutch).

Previous answers relating to fixing this bug do not work.

To be clear, my MacOS is already set to use English as its language in System Preferences, and my iCloud account is also already set to use English, UK as my country.

There are no settings on my Mac that would lead the MacOS (or Maps) to think I wanted any of the interface in Dutch (or any non-English language).

This appears to be a bug in Apple Maps, and it would be great if Apple could just fix it.

I am running MacOS 12.6.3 (21G419).

Thanks.

Hi DesignThinking,

There are a few elements you may consider trying to address this concern.

First, a 16" MacBook Pro should be compatible with the most current release of macOS which is 13.2.1. The page Update macOS on Mac covers the steps to update your macOS software.

Another option is to use safe mode to identify potential causes and solutions for this behavior. How to use safe mode on your Mac outlines not only how to perform that test but also recommended follow-up steps based on the results to identify or resolve an unexpected behavior.

Regards.
