iPhone still appears in finder although disconnected
Eject didn't do anything. I disconnected the iPhone, but Eject still doesn't remove the iPhone from the Locations list. What to do?

Hi Tom, is the following selected?
If so it as been my experience that selecting it causes more trouble than it's worth, like asking for a password to start a backup whenever I'm in range of that network. Similar annoyances motivated me to turn it off.
Same window as in your screenshot, to the right of its Sidebar and below where yours shows iPhone (93). Directly beneath it ought to be a row of buttons beginning with General.
If that area of your window is blank it's a problem. Restarting your Mac in the usual manner ought to fix it.
Sync didn't do it. However, I just re-started, the iPhone appeared, but I was able to successfully click Eject. Thanks for your attention and help.
Sorry for my ignorance, but where do I find these?
Found it. Unchecking hasn't helped. -- yet! I will try restarting a bit later tonight, butI have several open projects going right now. I'll report back after the restart.
After de-selecting that option you might try Apply and then Sync. That might fix it without a restart.
Great! Thanks for the update.
