No "Check for available downloads" on iPad

I am having an issue with TV episodes I have bought on my iPad. I started downloading them, but had to leave and consequently interrupted the downloads as I did not have an Internet connection anymore.

Now that I am back home with my internet connection, I'd like to resume the download: unfortunately I do not see any of my downloads in the download list of my iPad itunes store. I have tried turning off and on the iPad to restart the itunes app, did not work. I have tried logging off and back on with my itunes account, does not work either. My available downloads can be seen on my desktop computer, but impossible to see them on my iPad.

Is there a way to solve that issue, and start downloading again on the iPad?

Thanks for your help!

I haven't seen any way of doing this on the iPad and if you can't force iTunes to download it then I would suggest goint into your account settings within iTunes and looking at your purchase history. Within there, you can flag up issues with individual downloads and send a message to Apple. They can then usually reset the download and it will start from the top again for the problem download.

Hope this helps.
