I have multiple email addresses and multiple contact lists. My contacts are in several lists. When I add a contact how do I know which list it is being associated?
I have AT&T yahoo and gmail email addresses but all are under the Apple email on my iPhone. What is the relationship between email and contacts?

Check Settings > Contacts > Accounts. Be certain exactly one account is set up to house your contacts.
