Contacts being corrupted with additional information

I've been noticing issues with Siri being able to find people in my contacts. As I've started going thru my contacts they're a strings being attached to the ends of some fields in some entries. Usually it is being attached to the phone number, country or homepage fields. it tends to start with x-item like country "United StatesX-Item" and then a bunch of information that looks like meta data for an app. Included are things like CATEGORIES:Personal, etc.

Does anyone know which apps might be corrupting the apple contacts?
