How do I watch replays of MLS games?
I am only seeing the shorter recap option for replays. How do I watch the entire game replay on the Apple TV app?

Update on my findings related to the availability of a full game replay of this past weekend’s Philadelphia/Montréal match:
Sunday Afternoon (3/19): full replay option was not available
Monday Afternoon (3/20): full replay option was available
Tuesday Afternoon (3/21): full replay option was not available
Wednesday Afternoon (3/22): full replay was available
The fact that a full replay has only been available every other day would almost be funny, if not for how maddening this whole thing is. Maybe the contract stipulates that the full game replay is only available on even-numbered days. 😝
I agree with the other posts. It is really too difficult to find a game once it has finished and they really, really need to not show the score on the photo of the game. That is just stupid. Defeats the purpose of watching a recorded game.
I too have been very disappointed with the functionality.
I use the MLS app on a Roku and on chrome browser on my PC, with sometimes on an iPhone.
I travel a fair amount, so it was great that it was global. However, not being able to see the replay, and even when it sort of worked knowing the score is a really poor UI experience.
Not what I expect from Apple.
I'd almost rather go back to my YouTube TV DVR with the local NBC Sports net coverage.
Thanks! This did it. Holding the select button didn’t work, but the info button did.
Not sure if its an Xfinity issue or AppleTV+ issue, but both should look into the problem of Xfinity users watching MLS Season Pass through the AppleTV+ and not being able to watch WHOLE complete games. I would not have signed up for MLS SEASON PASS if I knew I had to watch every game live, to see the whole game.
Thanks to someone on this board, I finally learned the secret of watching full replays on Comcast. You press and hold the "INFO" button instead of the "OK" button, and it works. I've talked to both Apple and Comcast about this, and neither had a clue (and I'm sure they still don't).
The issue is more than the Xfinity device. It has the same issue on Roku and even in the web browser.
. Even if it did show the entire match, it kinda sucks as it shows the scores right up from.
Apple has really botched this launch
You can change the setting to hide the scores. It's hard to find, but the best directions I've seen are here: https://9to5google.com/2023/02/22/mls-pass-android-google-tv/
any one have an idea on how to hide scores on Roku? AKA the most popular streaming STB?
On TV find the game you want, scroll down to the MLS +subscription box at the bottom of the page and below that there is some small print that says to select and hold for three seconds and then you get options.
But if you have Comcast, hold down the INFO button instead of the OK button.
I’ve tried holding down the info button, to no avail. When I select a game the only options I see at the bottom are View Details and Remove From Up Next. Selecting “View Details” only gets me “Resume” and @ In Up Next”. Am I missing something? Note - I’m a Comcast/Xfinity user.
I've finally figured out how to watch replays and hide scores on Roku.
On Roku, click on the Settings in the Apple TV app, hide sports scores.
Then find your team, in the east or west conference.
Then click on that, scroll all the way to the bottom, and click and HOLD on the how to watch option.
There will be 3 options, highlights, or full replay in Eng or Spanish.
I have still not figured out if there is a way to do it in the browser. Which really sucks, as that is the way I would like to watch replays when traveling.
As ajlimberis describes here, after selecting the game you want to watch, you have to scroll to the bottom of the page, where a black window says "How to Watch MLS Season Pass." Select that, then hold that INFO button, and two or three options should appear (Highlights, 90 minute game, and sometimes Spanish). Good luck. After many weeks of aggravation with Apple & Comcast, it now works every time for me.
Ring-tailedRoarer, thanks for your response! I'd seen ajlimberis' suggestion, and tried it. But when I went back and tried again now, I found my way through at last.
Now if I could get rid of the spoilers (final score displayed). I followed the instructions I'd seen online for Comcast users - several obscure steps in the Apple TV+ app. It all went exactly as described. But when I go back to my TV, the scores still display.
Does someone have a solution that worked for them, for TV's running on Comcast/Xfinity?
