Unfortunately, setting "Show Sports Scorce" to off doesn't turn off the scores entirely. You'll still see them on the MLS Season Pass home page. (See below). Of course, the team you express the most interest in is most likely to show up on the home page. It is a serious bug that Apple needs to fix.
So far I've found the MLS Experience on Apple to be very frustrating and lacking. Its primary focuse is putting a lot of content in front of you. That's another problem. Even if you turn off the score and manage to get to the game replay without seeing the score flash across the home page, you are still confronted with a long list of videos recapping all the scores from the game.
In addition, Apple doesn't make it easy to figure out how to access a full replay of the game, by default they just offer you a short highlight video. It appears the only way to avoid all this is to manually, in advance, add every game you want to watch a replay of to your "up-next list" and access it before going entering the MLS Season Pass section of the user interface. But of cousre that doesn't work if you access it from a laptop. Only the Streamng App. That is a big pain in the butt. It was so much easier when I could program my DVR once and never have to think about it again.
In the end the MLS Apple experience is a step backwords.
