MLS Season Pass "Turn Off All Scores For Past Matches"

OK Apple, you bought MLS for the next ten years, so I paid up and subscribed for the 23' season. If you ALWAYS post ALL past scores for games I want to watch, without knowing the scores, Apple will not get my money next year.

I am away from any screen for extended times, so Replay matches are a massive selling point for Apple TV MLS Season pass.

Turn off the dam scores. You are killing off why I watch past games. If I just wanted scores and highlights I'd just Google it.

Have a nice day.

… and nothing has been done to fix it.

Things have changed significantly. More options have been added to change the setting to hide scores. It is not yet everywhere, but it is currently available on third party devices with the Apple TV app, and is available on the web, and is available on iPhone, and is available on iPad, and is available on Apple TV box in US & CA, and is available on Mac.

The whole UI setup isn’t thought out very well. I watch replays on an iPad and I have show sports scores turned off. The best method for trying to avoid spoilers this way is to just search the game in Apple TV instead of going into MLS Season Pass. This takes you directly to the game page. The problem is that once you are on the game page the only option at the top of the page is to watch a recap. So I have to swipe to scroll to the bottom of the screen and then put my hand up over the screen to cover the highlights of all the goals from the game I’m trying to watch (basically have to hope that I can keep the screen covered enough while I’m selecting to watch the full version of the game). This is ridiculous to have to put this much effort into avoiding spoilers. At the very least the top of the game page should have the option of watching the full version of the game. It would also be helpful though if you turned off showing scores, if it also removed the highlights section. The NBA app does this and so you don’t see spoilers of the game you are about to watch.

I agree, showing the game results is so frustrating. I put on a replay of a Premier League game, no scores are shown. I put on AC Milan’s last game, no scores shown anywhere on the screen. I put on the latest Barcelona game and again I have no idea what the score of game is. I put on a USMNT team’s game on after I get home from work, and once again no knowledge of the out come. MLS season pass, see a trend? People like watching replays not knowing the score, please make the needed change.

So frustrating!!! 4 weeks in a row I have seen the score before watching the match. Tried watching a game replay in a windows Chrome Browser today and there is the score right in my face. Also there is not an option to turn off scores in the the browser also there is not way to see the game, all I get is Watch Recap. The game is not playable in Up Next. On top of which all of the game highlights and who scored are right above the replay so I already know who scored prior to watching the game even if I am on an apple TV app. OMG this is the worst GUI design ever for sports enthusiasts. PLEASE FIX ASAP or I will definitely not be renewing next year.

For $80 I really would have thought this service would have been more thought out. Scores blasting right there when you go into the MLS section! What is the point of the service! Turning off sports scores in settings does nothing.

I sat down to watch the LAFC/NE match and boom, score in my face. No point to watch the match. Totally unacceptable for this price.
