Air pod max, iPad, and generally every apple product I own wastes battery when sleeping

Am I missing something? If I use an android galaxy, the battery remains the same as when I last left it. If I don't use my sony mx headphones, the battery is still fully charged. However, when I put my apple products to sleep, they slowly drain battery.

Literally nothing: Apple products lose battery. This is a major oversight and I have to bring my android/non-Apple products as back up when I travel.

Hey there AbsolutKat,

Thanks for reaching out to the Apple Support Communities.

To get started, we do want to let you know that it would be expected behavior for the battery in your devices to drain slightly overnight, even when not in use. Additionally, there are a multiple factors that can affect this. For example, if using an iPhone, some apps continue to run in the background occasionally checking for new notifications, such as the Mail app.

Additionally, the battery on your Bluetooth accessories can drain slightly as they do need to maintain a connection with your device.

For steps that can help with maximizing the battery performance for your Apple devices, we suggest starting with the suggestions outlined in this article: Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple

We hope that's able to help.

Take care.
