How to stack tabs in safari

Cannot find a way to stack multiple tabs in safari. The tiles view continues to be useless and doesn’t show the website or any meaningful information in the crappy little tile. How is this still not fixed?

am I really going to have to move on to a new browser? Safari is trash with this. ****** I updated.

Any fix yet? Just let us use a legacy format please.

Hi there RobotCandy,

In iOS 16, you can arrange Safari tabs either in a Tab Bar configuration, or in a Single Tab configuration. The Single Tab configuration is the way tabs were handled in Safari prior to iOS 15.

In addition to using the Tab Bar or Single Tab configuration, you can also use Tab Groups. Tab Groups allow you to categorize tabs for a similar subject together in one group, so you can easily find the information you need. For example, if you're planning a vacation you can group any research you're doing for your trip so you can easily find the information you need later.

More information on using tabs in Safari can be found in the following Apple Support articles:

If the specific tab organization option you are looking for is not discussed in those resources, we encourage you to provide your feedback to the appropriate teams at Apple. You can do that here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
