Hello,

No matter what settings applied, I get no more notifications. Out of the blue.

Help would be very much appreciated.

Thx

I had two problems: No notification sound nor show as unopened. After checking all settings, I did hard reboot and it resolved. Quick up volume, down volume, then hold side button till apple icon reappears (20 secs).

Second, when I send myself a message, like texting myself a note from notes or sending myself a screenshot, I no longer get a notification nor does it show as an unopened message. This maybe a change in iOS, but to me it’s a problem.

All right. You know what - I thought you should do a complete restore. We've been through everything. You have your iCloud Backup ready, and if you have otherwise ensured that pictures and everything else are in iCloud, then do a restore.

Start by checking if photos and other content are in iCloud.

Then, sign out of Find My here:

Settings Apple IDFind

Then sign out of your Apple ID

Settings Apple IDSign Out at the bottom.

Unfortunately, I think the only solution is the Factory Restore that I mentioned earlier.

If you don't have the courage to do it yet, I would recommend contacting Apple Support directly. It may be that they have some tricks that we haven't tested yet. In addition, they also have the option of viewing your screen on your iPhone, which makes it easier to help.

Just try restarting your iPhone.

If that doesn't make a difference, check Settings Notifications, see if everything is enabled. Also check that your iPhone is not in Silent Mode, check the switch above the Volume Buttons. If it is red, it is in Silent Mode.

It is drastic to reset the whole phone, but unfortunately it can be the solution.

Have you checked if you have any available updates:

Settings General Software Update

Please write what you have tried.

Try doing a Forced Restart:

1. Press and quickly release Volume Up

2. Press and quickly release Volume Down

3. Press and hold the Side Button, your iPhone will restart. Release when you see the Apple Logo.

Just for the summary.

✔ You have no active Focus profiles, or automatically starting ones

✔ You have checked Notifications is enabled in Settings Notifications

✔ You have checked that your iPhone is fully updated

✔ You have tried Forced Restart

✔ You have checked that your iPhone is not in Silent Mode (However, this will still show notifications)

Do you have any Screen Time restrictions enabled? go to:

Settings Screen TimeContent & Privacy Restrictions

Okay, so Screen Time can also be ruled out. I can't think of more, especially since it affects all notifications.

My last suggestion would be to reset all settings. This can be done here:

Settings General Transfer or ResetReset Reset All Settings

You can also wait and see if others come by this thread with good advice.

You can also wait and see if the problem resolves itself, either with an iOS update, or if someone else from the community comes across your thread. Maybe someone has seen something I haven't.
