Using comma as decimal symbol for Number Keypad

Tom, now from home: I am configuring my Keyboard in the Settings>Keyboard>Text Input>Input Sources and I am using Apple's Magic Keyboard with Number Keypad with US Layout and yes, that is the one I use. Those accents work perfectly for Portuguese including to write the "ç" letter, not present in the English alphabet, but in French and other Latin languages. The only problem I see is that, even though everything works, the decimal character remains as a period. The only way to get the comma in the decimal period is to use the terrible Brazilian ABNT-2 Layout which is a horrible layout for someone who is used to the US layout. In addition, Apple does not sell this layout. thank you.

Appreciate it, Tom. But this is the thing. I have already created a Shortcut Workflow to make this switch every time my Mac restarts. I just find this a pain. Apple is very proud to build computers for the less computer literate where everything works very well. But when it comes to this, unfortunately, this is not Applelike. I have contacted Apple Support a few times and no one has any Idea what I am talking about (mostly Americans), there is no way to send feedback for MacOS via the Feedback website and even visited multiple Apple Retail Stores where all salespeople simply say "I am sorry" but don't take this issue forward. Even MS-Windows has this done much more efficiently than Apple. This is a shame for Apple as this is exactly one of the issues why it scares Windows users to migrate to Apple. Thank you!

Well, what you are telling me is that I would have to use 3 different keyboards: One for English (US Layout), another for Portuguese (ABNT-2) and an extra one for Spanish (Spanish Layout). I don't think this makes sense. The Keyboard layout should not be the issue, but rather the Regional & Language setting should control that. If I choose a region/language where the decimal symbol is a dot, then that keystroke should give me a dot. If it is a comma, then the keystroke should give me a comma, just like in Windows system (hate to compare with Windows)

You are better than the Apple Geniuses. No rep has given me this feedback page. I have submitted the feedback. thank you. I will not close this for now, just in case we find more people with the same issue and as I said, the issue is not resolved yet. Waiting for an Apple official answer. Thank you for your time, Tom!

Muguy, what languages do you speak/write on?

What you are telling me is to keep using the US Keyboard, buy a Brazil ABNT-2 layout keyboard to write in Portuguese and then buy another Spanish Layout keyboard for when I write Spanish?
