NFC Not working on iPhone 13 Pro

Hello All,

It's been a year now. A year since I first contacted Apple about this issue. I got my iPhone 13 Pro for Christmas of 2021, and it's been amazing. Though there is one thing. NFC does not work. I am able to use Apple Pay and the transactions work no problem, but I am unable to scan any tag whatsoever. As a Type 1 Diabetic I rely on my phone to check my glucose levels, and with NFC not working I am unable to check my glucose when needed to during the day. This is a huge setback for me health-wise but also time-wise. I have contacted apple more than 6 times about this issue. Support has ran diagnostics on my phone and they say that hardware is good, so i'm thinking its software related. Please let me know if any of you have been experiencing this, and if any of you found a fix. I saw other posts of here about a similar issue too. I'm not sure what i'm supposed to do at this point. If my hardware is fine, then what is the issue?

If Apple Pay works then NFC works.

To read a glucose device you need to install the app developed by the device manufacturer.

NFC has never been natively available without an app.

If you have installed the relevant app then contact their developer.

They would say that would they not.

You need more than one third party app failing to suggest the phone is failing.

Make sure you are not running any security apps from the App store including VPN.

Apple shortcut facility is not an app it is an app automator

OK looks like the phone is failing

Before arranging for a repair or visit to a genius bar, first try a Forced restart

If no better you should probably arrange a repair

Or Click here > Contact - Official Apple Support

Anything other than Screen or Battery may be a replacement phone and the price is in the article under "Other damage"

Yes, forgot to mention that I am unable to scan any NFC tags with the Apple Shortcuts app too, or any 3rd party app that supports and uses NFC......

I have contacted the developer of the app and they say it's not an issue on their end.

All NFC related apps that I have tried have not worked at all on my phone. I have tried multiple NFC reader and writer apps, and nothing has worked.

NFC used to work a while back when I first got the phone, but now nothing.
