I cannot get my iMac Monterey to recognize sd card reader. I have followed all the steps on tutorial nothing has worked. Anyone know what to do next.

My iMac will not recognize built in card reader. Have tried user guide nothing works

iMac 21.5″, macOS 12.6

SD Card reader stops working until reboot iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) I've seen people post with the same issue and was wondering if anyone has found a fix for this issue. The card reader starts at boot up, but eventually stops recognizing cards when they're inserted until you reboot. Thanks!

Was a Pram Reset one of the things you tried?

With a card in it does Disk Utility see it?
