Declined payment method

In January I decided to switch to Apple Music from Spotify (which I paid for) and all was going great till February when I suddenly started getting declined payment errors for no reason and I’ve tried three different cards with none working


now I’m back to Spotify and my iCloud subscription is going to expire soon which I’m not able to renew also, I don’t know what to do anymore

If your payment is getting declined, you'll want to check your payment settings to make sure a payment method is correctly saved to your Apple ID account.


1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap Media & Purchases, then tap View Account. You might be asked to sign in with your Apple ID.
4. Tap Manage Payments.

Add a payment method to your Apple ID


Here's some additional recommendations you can try for declined payment issues: If your payment method is declined in the App Store or iTunes Store


If you're still unable to complete transactions, then you'll need to contact Apple for assistance with your account: Get Support
