Question about cellular connection on iWatch

Hi there,

I am planning to buy an iWatch with cellular functionality.

Now, I have a pressing question. I often connect with my iWatch to the camera app of my iPhone through bluetooth connection. Especially with a camera stick this remote control is very convenient.

However, I do not like the Bluetooth connectivity as it often has interference.

My question is: can a cellular connection replace the bluetooth connection to remotely control the iPhone camera?
