DisplayPort on M2 Pro Mac Mini & Dell Ultrasharp UP2718Q

Hopefully I can explain this correctly. Recently got the M2 Pro Mac mini and having issues with my monitors, I've got one Philips 4k144 monitor I want to connect via HMDI 2.1 and a Dell UP2718Q monitor I want to connect via DisplayPort.

The Philips connects via HDMI fine, but I can't get the monitor to work with DisplayPort, I've tried different DisplayPort cables, USB C adaptors, USB C to DisplayPort cables, connecting via TS3+ hub and WD Black Game Dock, but none work. The screen flashes on for a second then goes black. the Mac mini recognises it it's there but doesn't display anything.

The DisplayPort works with the Philips monitor perfectly, except no HDR available enabled, which is why I want to use that via HDMI.

I know I can just have the Dell monitor connected via HDMI to USB C cable, but want to try to figure out why it's not working and still working on my setup so might change things around. I'm guessing it's a monitor issue, I don't think it can change the DisplayPort to 1.2 through the monitor, could that be it?

Any help is appreciated!

I know your goal is DisplayPort but have you verified that the display works with a USB-C to HDMI cable/adapter? This is to make sure that it is a DisplayPort issue and not a monitor issue.

Also, have you been trying DisplayPort Certified cables and adapter and not just generic non-certified cables? Also certified for 4K or higher? Not cables just stating they are capable but actually certified? Certified cables will have a marking on the cable and packaging similar to this:

Thanks for the reply, sorry for my late reply.

I've got the monitor to work with USB C to HDMI in the past only at 4k30.

I've ordered a bunch of new certified cables, I'm certain mine are but just in case, hopefully one of those will sort it as currently I can't watch some streaming services as HDCP isn't working through DisplayPort on the Philips monitor.
