how do I codesign an applescript app?
I have a fairly complex AppleScript. When I SCRIPT->RUN it. It works fine. When I compile the script and run IT I continually get the diagnostic window seen below. I have searched google and I find suggestions to code-sign the script but I do not know how to do this. Can anyone help? I am using Venture 13.2.1 on a mac.-studio
I don't think code signing will get you around that protection.
I think the user has to explicitly permit that access.
Grant the app full disk access, and the prompts should go away.
In Monterey: System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access > select the app
