I cannot download videos in .mov and photos in HEIC format

I have an iPhone SE. Lately, I have not been able to download videos and photos (that often come in the HEIC format. I have iOS 16.2.

Can anyone help with this problem?

Unable to download photos in compatible format! Regardless if I choose more compatible format, I always get an HEIC file, which I can not open on my PC. Is it perhaps because the photos were captured with live mode enabled? Apple, this is a massive problem for us, we have employees capturing hundreds of photos on iphones every day and they need to download and share these photos. What is the meaning of this change??

iOS 17 Photo Import I’m trying to import videos using my apple usb c sd card adapter with my iPhone 15 pro and iPad Pro. Neither work. It sees the adapter and videos but freezes when trying to import. I have to use my Mac instead. I’m assuming it’s an iOS 17 problem. I just purchased the adapter for the iPhone 15.
