Apple Business Connect "Session timed out"

When uploading Logo and Cover Photo to businesses we continually get a "Session timed out".

Logo is minimum size 1024x1024px PNG 44KB.

Cover Photo is minimum size 1600x1040px JPG 507KB

Apple MacBook M1 Pro

Ventura 13.2.1

Safari 16.3

The interface has no loading bar, so we are not sure whether the upload is even initiating.

We have successfully uploaded other clients files (of similar size) on the same day, but for some clients it just keeps on logging us out.

Thanks for getting back to us, gregorfrommontmorency,

We apologize if we recommended steps you have already completed. Our goal is not to have you repeat any troubleshooting, but do our best to provide you with as much support as we can.

For issues with Apple Business Connect, you will want to speak to an Advisor who specializes in, and has access to, the tools and resources necessary to investigate issues with the Apple Business Connect service and accounts. This is not possible here in the Apple Support Communities.

You can contact an Apple Business Connect specialist here: Contact - Official Apple Support

We hope you have a great day.

Hello gregorfrommontmorency,

This page can help out with providing some helpful info and steps for using logos/cover photos: Use logos and cover photos with Apple Business Connect - Apple Support

Logo guidelines
If you’re adding a logo, it must meet the following requirements:
•The logo file format can be HEIC, JPEG, or PNG.

•The size must be 1024 x 1024 pixels.

•Adhere to the photo and text standards and guidelines.

•Be approved by Apple.

Cover photo guidelines
To review cover photo guidelines, see photo information.

Add your first default business logo and cover photo
When you add a logo for your business, it’s used by default for all locations associated with that business. However, you can create different logos for each location. You also can’t add a business logo without also adding a cover photo. When both of these are added, you have created your initial Place Card Header.
1. In Apple Business Connect, sign in with a user that has the role of Administrator.
2. If you’re the administrator for more than one organization, select the appropriate one from the list.
3. Do one of the following:
If you have just one business, click Info  in the sidebar.
This is also the logo for your first location.
Click Businesses  in the sidebar, then select a business.
4. Click View Profile.
5. To add a business logo, click Image  in the circle in the lower-left corner, locate an image, then drag it in the Upload photo field.
6. Move and resize the image, select whether the image is used in Maps, Apple Wallet, or both, then click Cover Photo.
7. Drag a cover photo to the Upload photo field, move and resize the image, then select whether the image is used in Maps, Apple Wallet, or both.
8. Click Save.
Apple verifies the logo (and the cover photo) to make sure it meets the photo and text standards and guidelines before you can use it.

If you happen to need additional help, there will be a 'Contact Us' link at the upper-right of the above page to help reach out to the Apple Support Advisors that specialize in that area.

Cheers.

Hi Eric

If you read my message correctly, you would have understood that I had done everything you suggested. It is a session timeout issue.

I repeated the upload later in the evening, and it eventually worked. But I have many more clients to resolve, and we are having the session timeout issue happen sporadically.

Speedtest tells us our connection is fine (>100Mbps down & >30Mbps up), and Australia's internet is far from slow.

There appears to be another issue. Are you refusing to look into it and help, by only offering us an answer I could already source online?
