Is there an adapter that can connect Carplay through the infotainment system on a 2103 Buick Verano, either via bluetooth or USB? Basically, I want to use the built-in infotainment screen instead of mounting a new aftermarket Carplay device with its own screen. Neither Buick nor On Star help desks know of a solution within their own wheelhouses.

There are mods out there to do that for older cars that allow the use of the existing screen for CarPlay, wether there's one that can be performed on a Buick is hard to say.
If there is one, it's not going to be just a plug and play solution. No adapter can just commandeer the infotainment system like that and use the screen for CarPlay.

In all honesty, the easiest option is going to be to replace the entire infotainment system. You would need a car electronics or stereo shop that can make the upgrade with an aftermarket unit.
