Display Error Out of Range with external monitor (Solved)

Macbook Air M2 using HDMI cable to LG monitor. Kept getting out of range.

Found solution: Had to reduce refresh rate to 50 Hz.

External display won't get video signal after MacOS update Hi, my system worked flawlessly until a MacOS Monterey 12.7 security update (yesterday, 3 Oct 2023): the external display (LG 32EP950-B) won't get video signal after going in standby or being manually shutdown. After turning on the display the system will recognize the display but will not send video signal. The only workarounds I found so far are: to reboot the machine; in System Preferences: to change display refresh rate to 50 Hertz and back to 60 Hertz. Any way to fix this problem and make it work as it should (as it was before the update)? Thank you in advance.

MacBook Pro M1 lags with external 4k display Hi! I am trying to use my LG 31MU97 display over hdmi. It's very slow. Cursor is lagging. I have no control on refresh rate. Any ideas?

Display Resolution with LG Ultrawide Monitor I connected an LG Ultrawide monitor to my MacBook Pro running Ventura 13.4.1. The visual is super grainy and terrible. It says in my system settings that it is set at 2560 x 1080 running at 60 hertz. something very wrong.
