Using Siri to restart iPhone (iOS 16)

Siri will currently restart my iPad, but this feature has stopped working on my iPhone. (I have recently successfully used “Hey Siri” and activated Siri by pressing the button on my iPhone to get Siri to restart the iPhone). I’ve rebooted my iPhone manually and checked for any updates (there are none). Why has this stopped working & what’s the fix?

Siri won’t restart iphone. I have a new iPhone 14 Pro. When I ask Siri to restart this iPhone it says it can’t help me with this right now. If I turn on voice control and say reboot iPhone, it asks for confirmation and then restarts as it should. Oddly, Siri will restart my old iPhone 8 without a problem. The software is up to date, Siri is on and I have restarted the phone multiple times trying to resolve the issue. The only other thing I have noticed is that Siri will occasionally respond with on-screen text, but no voice. I suspect this is a bug as I do not have these issues on the iPhone 8. Any suggestions would be appreciate any suggestions.
