In some applications, the multimedia sound cannot be transferred to the vehicle. WhatsApp-Twitter-Instagram-Photos App

Hello,

i have a problem with the iPhone 14 Pro Max car sound transfer. I have a Renault Megane. Bluetooth matching/connection was made. There is no detailed multimedia in the vehicle, but there is a Siri button on the steering wheel. Siri is working.

+ I can transfer call sounds, youtube, music app sounds to the vehicle speaker.

But;

- The video sent from whatsapp does not sound.

- The video in the photos application does not sound.

- The video of the video that opens from the intagram does not sound.

- The video on Twitter does not sound.

When you first enter the application, the sound comes for less than 1 second and disappears.

Android phones in the same vehicle worked without problems.

Is this a software problem? How can I solve it.

You can find along with features about CarPlay, apps and third-party apps that should work with CarPlay by going to iOS - CarPlay - Apple. In the list, we do not see Photos, Instagram, or Twitter listed.

For submitting feedback to Apple for the Photos app, you can go to Product Feedback - Apple. And for the additional apps, you will want to reach out to the app developer. If needed, see How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Found in the article Use other apps with CarPlay - Apple Support is the following:

CarPlay works with select third-party apps that you download to your iPhone. Compatible apps—including audio, navigation, messaging, and voice-calling apps, and apps made by your vehicle manufacturer—show up automatically on CarPlay Home and can be controlled with Siri. For example, you can use Siri to give you directions from your favorite navigation app. CarPlay also works with additional third-party apps for EV charging, parking, and quick food ordering.

If non-Apple created apps such as WhatsApp isn't working with your CarPlay, you will want to reach out to the app developer for support.
